Heat Pump Split System - 12k+12k that can heat or cool two separate interior spaces from a single condenser. The MrCool DIY Ductless Split System is designed as a heat pump, reversing the air conditioning process to pull ambient heat from the outside into your home when operating in heating mode.
The MrCool Multi-Zone System can manage heating, cooling, and drying in a wide range of temperatures. The outdoor heat pump unit is capable of heating up to 24,000 BTU. Both 12,000 BTU air handlers can distribute heated or cooled air in a room of up to approximately 550 square feet.
The MrCool DIY 24k BTU 22 SEER 2-Zone Ductless Heat Pump Split System - 12k+12k can be easily installed since it does not require any special training or tools. No
HVAC training is required for installation. The secret is a Quick Connect line already pre-charged with eco-safe
refrigerant. This component simplifies installation by allowing you to complete this do-it-yourself project without calling an HVAC technician.
The easy-to-read digital display on the front of each indoor air handler allows you to easily check the room temperature with a quick glance. You can also see information about your home heating and cooling system in the MrCool Smart Controller mobile app, which is available for iOS and Android devices. The air handlers deven display troubleshooting codes on their front panel to alert you of any of your system’s needs.
Install the included USB devices into their respective air handlers to operate your HVAC system wirelessly with the included remote, the MrCool Smart Controller app available for iOS and Android devices, or an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
The two MrCool air handlers included in this MrCool DIY 24k BTU 22 SEER 2-Zone Ductless Heat Pump Split System - 12k+12k provide real air comfort very effectively, so you can stay at the right comfort level no matter the time of year. If you need forced cooling, this MrCool DIY System can be set to a manual, or emergency operation, mode. Push the button on the right side of the air handler under its front panel. When operating mode, you can test how well the system cools your space and complete maintenance tasks.
With the auto mode, you set each indoor unit to your desired temperature and let the system handle the rest. The MrCool DIY system will determine how much heated air or air conditioning is needed based on the difference between the current air temperature and your temperature setting.
The MrCool DIY system also has a drying function, which allows you to control the temperature of your space while also dehumidifying.You can even keep excess condensation out of your air handlers with the anti-mildew function on each indoor unit. Once you turn the function on, the air handler will run at a minimal rate of air flow to dry excess moisture.
